Something Clean to Start The Off-Central Players Second Season

The Off-Central Players 22/23 season opens with Selina Fillinger’s Something Clean.  Directed by Ward Smith, this breathtaking new drama slips into the jagged cracks of a sex crime’s aftermath as a mother struggles to make sense of her own grief, intimacy, and culpability.

Debbie Yones plays Charlotte who has been a mother for nineteen years, a wife for three decades, and a respectable community member her entire life. But when her only child is incarcerated for sexual assault, her once-immaculate world is forever tainted. The play also features Alan Mohney Jr. as Charlotte’s equally exhausted husband Doug and Troy Brooks as Joey a trusting soul who runs a victim’s center where Charlotte volunteers. The play runs August 11 thru 28th.
