How to L.O.V.E.: A Handbook for Imaginary Friends

ThinkTank Theatre have had their thinking caps on (bad joke, we know), and they’ve just shared an event that you can be a part of from home.

Written by Toni Keene and originally slated to premiere at the now postponed 2020 Tampa Fringe, “How to L.O.V.E.: A Handbook for Imaginary Friends” has been adapted instead for the Zoom stage.

From the Facebook event, the show ” tells the story of a Father and the Handbook he finds while cleaning out the room he grew up in. The Handbook takes him through a journey of memories, revisiting times he needed a true friend, and learning, as an adult, what it means to L.O.V.E.”

The show is free, with space for 40 viewing devices, the content is suitable for families and adults at different times, and there is even an accessible performance. Viewers also get to participate in the show by BEING the imaginary friends! This should definitely be an interesting experiment into participatory streaming theatre.
