Tonia has worked as an actor, dramaturg, playwright, director, costumer, theatre educator, and theatre administrator. Favorite roles include Puck, Feste, Caliban, Viola, and Prospero. She has a PhD in Theatre from The Ohio State University and was a founding company member for the Great River Shakespeare Festival in Minnesota, where she served as the first Education and Administration Coordinator. Tonia is Associate Artistic Director for A Simple Theatre and teaches theatre at Eckerd College. She is in the process of completing certification in Knight Thompson Speechwork and is a member of VASTA, the Voice and Speech Trainers Association.
