Lisa Brave has been working in films, television and commercials over the past several years. Her film credits include the award winning Undone (2012) and Contributors of Children’s Knowledge (2014), The Pact (2014), and featured and extra roles in Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks and Unsullied, as well as several student films, where she has played a range of characters including wife, mother, nurse, and hard-knock waitress. In theater she has worked in a wide range of productions. Additional credits include numerous industrials, commercials and print. Lisa began acting at a young age. In grade school she explored a wide array of dramatic arts, and has been hooked ever since. She continued her journey through High School and at The Ohio State University, beginning as a Theater major, and studied under Joy Reilly and Iona Zelenka. As a Freshman, she was cast in Summer and Smoke, directed by Donald Glancy, the only underclassman among graduate students and professional actors. She also acted in student films at OSU. Lisa graduated with a BS in Natural Resources, but continued her involvement in theater through the OSU club, Strollers Student Theatrics, and enjoyed a run in the award-winning production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Lisa put acting on the back burner for almost 20 years while she married, raised a family and pursued her environmental science career. However, as “the spark” was always there, Lisa participated as much as she could in Community Theater, taking several roles at Country Gate Theater and other theaters in Belvidere and Phillipsburg, NJ, and at St. Pete City Theater, where she won a Michael Award (2013) and was nominated as Favorite Leading Actress (2014), as well as performing in a reading of The Vagina Monologues at American Stage in St. Petersburg, FL. She began branching into commercials, television and film, is agent represented in FL, and continues training with several instructors, both Florida and LA based.
