Lauren Field is currently a teaching artist with American Stage Education, after having just graduated from USFSP with her degree in Literature, where she was founding president of The USFSP Shakespeare Society. Lauren has been performing in the Tampa Bay area since she was a child, but her first performance in the St. Pete theatre community was in St. Petersburg Shakespeare Festival’s inaugural season as Rosalind in As You Like It. She has recently appeared in West Side Story as Rosalia and in St. Pete Shakespeare’s Studio Shakespeare Series where she played a variety of characters, from Julia in Two Gentlemen of Verona to Guiderious in Cymbeline, over the course of several months. In her free time, Lauren enjoys exploring the local shops of St. Pete, cheering on Liverpool FC, continuing her study of Elizabethan drama, and is currently being trained as a certified yoga instructor with St. Petersburg Yoga.
