Attending the Philadelphia University of the Arts, David earned his Degree in Dance and started his professional career in local Philadelphia Theatres. He studied acting with William Hickey at the Herbert Berghoff Studios in New York City and received voice training in a variety of styles. Outside of Philly he performed at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, VA, and later, hired by Busch Gardens Tampa bringing him to the Bay Area. Since arriving in Tampa he has performed in many of the area’s major theaters, including The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Ruth Eckerd Hall, Sarasota Opera House and American Stage. Favorite roles include… Elyot-Private Lives; Albin/ZaZa-La Cage Aux Folles; Buffalo Bill Cody-Annie Get Your Gun and most recently, Tevye-Fiddler on the Roof. David is also well known locally for his work in Children’s Programming with Creative Arts Theater. He performed, wrote and directed numerous original productions in the 25 years he worked with them. Also, he composed most of the original music and songs for the shows along with his work as director and songwriter for the award winning Dreamers Against Drugs program sponsored by the City of Tampa.
